On Thursday the 15th of December over 100 guests attended our annual school Christmas Show. As Oaklands School is celebrating 10 years on the current site, it was decided to revisit 10 of the most popular performances from the last 10 years. Fantastic lighting, music, props and backdrops added something special to all acts. Each act was well received from the packed audience! The show was brought to a close with a lively wheelchair dance to the music of Belfast Girl and then a full audience participation dance to Merry Christmas Everyone.
After the performance our friends from Rowanfield helped with teas and coffees and guests had the chance to sample some of the fine foods produced by Oaklands pupils as well as an opportunity to buy some of the fantastic gifts made by all classes. Guests donated money to the school and over £160 was raised! A big thanks to all who helped and supported our Christmas Show. See you next year. Have a fantastic Christmas and New Year.
