Welcome to Oaklands School!

My name is Rebecca Vaughan and I am the very proud Headteacher of this wonderful learning community.

Oaklands is an absolutely wonderful school full of amazing children and young people  and a fantastically committed and giving staff team. I hope this comes across as you peruse the website.

Oaklands School provides education for children and young people with complex, long term additional support needs where the presumption of mainstream cannot be met and require a significantly modified learning environment.

Our pupils have profound and multiple learning disabilities and often associated and potentially life limiting healthcare needs.

We, as Team Oaklands, are here to support you and I would ask you not to hesitate to contact me via the school office, should we be able to offer you additional help or information about Oaklands.

We update our website and our Twitter feed (@Team_Oaklands) regularly so you can see at first hand what happens at Oaklands.

It’s an absolute privilege to be part of the management team of such a wonderful school community and I look forward to meeting and working with you to ensure that your child or young person receives the support and challenge necessary to make their time at Oaklands as happy, fulfilling and positive as possible.
