Willow Class

Lucy Smith is the class teacher in Willow this year.

March 2023

Willow Class have had a busy term working on our RSPB awards. First of all we explored the woods to choose our resources, then sorted everything out to fill our own Bug Hotels before taking them out to the playground. We then played with ice blocks and cubes which had petals and grasses frozen inside them. It was fun to use watering cans and squirters to melt the ice and feel the flowers appear. We have also planted up some spring bulbs which have miraculously (given the random weather) already started to appear! The children all continue to work hard on their MOVE and communication targets, take part in brilliant Performing Arts sessions every week and play outside as much as possible. Hopefully the summer term will bring us some more sunshine! Best wishes from all of Willow Class for the Easter break.
