Numeracy learning takes many forms at Oaklands. Our pupils experience and learn about routines and patterns throughout their day. These are supported by visual and object timetables, song signifiers, days of the week smells and songs and other regular activities. They will have opportunities to learn about money through role-play, songs and games as well as through shopping and money exchange experiences both in school and in the community. Pupils take part in a range of number activities which can include songs, games, number recognition and more differentiated to their individual learning and the communication needs.
