S3

February 2017

The S3 Class have been very busy this term, taking part in various activities connected with World Book Day, as well as taking part in various activities connected with Oaklands’ Rights Respecting Week. The latter also links up with our topic of studying Europe this term, specifically Poland at the moment as three of the boys are of Polish descent. The boys (and team) enjoyed wearing their pyjamas for World Book Day, which raised over £60 for the Scottish Book Trust. They also took part in the performance of Can’t-Dance-Cameron, where one of the pupils had a starring role. They made Sernik, or Polish Cheesecake, linked to both Rights Respecting Week and topic activities.
