Aspen Class

February 2017

Class 4 have been busy focussing on our “Flavours of the World” topic.  Since the February break we have begun studying Pakistan and have learnt about the features of the Badshahi Masjid in Lahore.  It has got many typical characteristics of onion domes, cylindrical minarets and beautiful mosaics.  We had fun making patterns and painting bright colours on the walls of the mosque display. Swimming is going “swimmingly”.  One of our boys has earned the nickname “Torpedo” because he’s so speedy.

We are still continuing with our “Curry Tuesdays” which are becoming ever more popular.  We hope that everyone enjoys the smell of spices and curries as much as we do.
